Kristen Ward graduated in Veterinary Medical Technology from Central Carolina Community College and spent 12 years working as a Registered Veterinary Technician. Six of those years were dedicated to the Anesthesia service at North Carolina State University, where she pursued her Veterinary Technician Specialty in Anesthesia and Analgesia. After relocating to Ohio, she earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Capital University.
Kristen now lives in Oklahoma, where she continues to work in a Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit while also serving as the Co-founder and Chief Operating Officer (COO) of Safe Pet Anesthesia. She combines her expertise in both veterinary and human healthcare to elevate the standards of veterinary anesthesia. Her passion for anesthesia, along with a meticulous attention to detail, fuels her commitment to improving the quality and safety of anesthesia for all animals. Kristen also provides high-quality continuing education at a national level.
In her free time, she enjoys training and spending time with her Golden Retrievers.
